Experience
Adam Stewart is a corporate executive with ‘for profit’ and ‘for purpose’ company board experience. Adam has over 20 years of experience managing accounting and corporate services in senior management and executive roles and has managed organisations both at the strategic and operational levels. He has experience leading teams of employees in accounting, human resources, recruitment, training, project management, procurement, IT & administration. Adam has worked in a number of industries, including engineering consulting, electrical engineering services, electrical and civil construction, land development, airport operations and labour-hire and recruitment. These industries have serviced sectors including mining and minerals, oil and gas, infrastructure, construction, aviation, medical and allied health and manufacturing Australia wide and in the UAE.
Qualifications
Adam possesses a comprehensive and broad knowledge base having completed 32 postgraduate courses, holding a Master of Professional Accounting, and is a Fellow of CPA Australia, a Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants and a Fellow of the Institute of Financial Accountants (UK). He has a Master of Business Administration and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management as well as a Certified Professional member of the Australian Human Resources Institute. Adam is a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia and a Fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute as a Chartered Secretary and Chartered Governance Professional. Adam has many years of experience in risk and compliance and in corporate strategy and has demonstrated strong commercial expertise as the pivotal point of contact in relation to commercial law and contracts advice. Along with the postgraduate courses in Commercial Law, Corporations Law and Income Tax Law, Adam has also undertaken a Contract Law Master Class and studied The Law in Construction, as well as study in Bail, Criminal Procedure, Restraining Orders, Sentencing, Warrants and Witnessing of Documents.
